Hello World — Why I'm Building This Site

A quick intro to who I am, why I decided to build this portfolio, and what you can expect to find here.

Hey there 👋

I’m Atharva — a Machine Learning Engineer based in Dublin, working at Intel. I spend most of my days building GenAI platforms, designing LLM agent architectures, and turning research-grade AI into products real people use.

Why this site?

I wanted a space that’s mine. Somewhere to:

  • Showcase projects beyond what fits on a CV
  • Write about things I learn — LLM engineering patterns, agentic AI, side project builds
  • Connect with people who share similar interests
  • Experiment with web tech (this site is built with Astro + Tailwind + Groq-powered AI chat)

What to expect

I’ll be writing about:

  1. AI/ML Engineering — real-world patterns for RAG, agents, evaluation
  2. Side Projects — stuff I build for fun (like my FPL AI Agent)
  3. Career Notes — lessons from going from an intern in Mumbai to leading GenAI at Intel
